This trash raises a flag that says “Thank you!” when you put trash in it.
Step 1
Attach a Move Tag to the inside of the trash can lid.
Step 2
Connect the servo motor’s COUT, GND, and PWM to the GPIO Tag, and using adhesive tape attach the “Thank you!” flag to the end of the motor and then to the back of the trash can.
Step 3
When you put trash in the trash can, the will lid shake, the Move Tag senses the motion, and the servo motor begins to operate.
The ideal sensitivity for the Move Tag and PWM values will differ depending on the shape of the lid and type of servo motor. Use trial and error to find the best values.
