The Brightness block is an input device that detects and notifies you about a change in brightness. Additionally, it can be used to detect if there is an object nearby.
What the Brightness block can do
Brightness Change
Your block will send a signal to the app when its brightness changes to certain conditions.
Brightness:
You can set your standard brightness from 10 different levels.
Check Brightness
When your block receives this command, it will check if its brightness is within certain bounds.
Brightness:

Detect Closeness
When something gets near and cover your block, it will send a signal to the app.
Detect Openness
When something near your block disappears, and stops covering your block, it will send a signal to the app.
Check Closeness
When your block receives this command, it will check if anything is covering the block.
Check Openness
When your block receives this command, it will check if nothing is covering the block.

- The brightness block senses nearby objects using infrared rays. Therefore, the block may not be able to detect certain objects and/or proximity depending on their position, direction or nature.
